The name of this champagne refers to the famous seventeenth-century monk who is credited with having the greatest influence on the technology of champagne wine production - from the selection of bottles and the type of closure to the grape varieties. The presented champagne comes from the harvest in 2008. In taste, the champagne impresses with notes of almonds, which surprisingly turn into dried fruit, lemon peel and then a slightly smoky finish with a toast aftertaste. On the palate it is full of warmth, creamy and round, initially fruity becoming fuller and heavier flavor notes. The taste is intense, excellent, with a delicate acidity.
