Calvados is one of the 3 (next to cognacs and armagnacs) appellations of French brandy Boulard is the largest and most famous Calvados brand in the world, almost synonymous with the entire category. Founded in 1825 by Pierre-Auguste Boulard, today it is a global brand sold in over 80 countries around the world. Unlike armagnacs and cognacs, it is not made from grapes, but from 120 special varieties of apples, whose special composition gives it a unique character.
Boulard VSOP is aged in barrels for a minimum of 4 years.
